Noni nyan is a tiny illustration studio with a soft spot for cats.
It started the way most good things do — with a cat curled in a sunbeam and the quiet wish to hold that feeling on paper. Noni nyan grew out of that: small, hand-painted worlds where cats nap among wildflowers, gaze at the moon, and make themselves at home.
Everything here is painted by hand in gouache, one gentle layer at a time. I love the texture of real paint, the softness of a warm palette, and the little stories that appear when you give a cat somewhere cozy to sit. Whether it's a print for your wall or a commission of your own companion, my hope is that it feels personal — like it was made just for you, because it was.

I'd rather a piece feel like a hug than look flawless. A little softness, a little imperfection — that's where the character lives.
Cats, mostly
Cats are the heart of the studio, but I'm always happy to paint other pets and gentle little characters too. If it's dear to you, it belongs here.

This is a one-person studio on purpose. I take on a handful of commissions at a time so each one gets real attention, not an assembly line.
